Our recently renovated farmhouse boasts a unique blend of modern design and Klein Karoo farm-style architecture, beautifully executed in its stylish interior. This serene 3-bedroom farmhouse offers the pinnacle of luxury.
Balintore Guest Farm House, boasts a ‘house-length’ stoep (covered veranda) on its east side and a similarly expansive pergola patio on its western side. Guests are invited to relish striking sunrises on the stoep and captivating sunsets on the pergola patio. The stoep is equipped with a braai (barbecue), a dining table, and a lounge area.

Balintore Guest Farm House accommodates up to 6 guests. The master bedroom boasts a queen-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. In the bedroom 2, the antique cast iron double bed is the centrepiece, and equipped with a basin for guest convenience. Spacious Bedroom 3 offers two single beds. The family bathroom has a walk-in shower and a modern, sizable bathtub. The endless supply of hot water is a luxury facilitated by gas geysers. An inverter system with lithium batteries ensures uninterrupted power during load-shedding, adding to the luxurious experience.

Balintore also offers a cottage for two guests, with room for a small child as well. This cottage can serve as overflow accommodation for the main farmhouse. It comprises a separate bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area.

The outdoor bathroom is a welcomed addition to this unique farmhouse. An open-air ‘donkey-driven’ bath and shower may be enjoyed on hot summer days when a sun-kissed body seeks refreshment.
The small yet invaluable gym is a precious addition for health-conscious and fitness enthusiasts. This extra little luxury is especially welcome on rainy days when the 5km roundabout route for runners on the dirt road is less inviting due to muddy conditions. Mountain bikers love the Haelkraal Road route through the mountains. The well known Mosselbay Mountain Bike Race, passes through our Ruiterbos Valley.
Our valued guests are also welcome to pick and enjoy the fresh and crisp vegetables from the organic veggie garden, cultivated with tender love and care.
Guests may collect fresh free-range eggs from the coop each morning, perfectly timed for breakfast. Balintore chickens are like pets, lovely and friendly, always happy to see guests. The rooster will give his farm fresh special morning greeting too, just to make sure our guests feel welcome and loved. Farm, nothing but farm.
The farm dam is stocked with bass fish. Guests are most welcome to catch and release, enjoying the open spaces, fresh air, and beautiful scenery – the perfect medicine for an overworked city brain.
